Welcome to the homepage of the Occupational Therapists working with Older People (OTWWOP) SIG which is a part of NZAOT. Members of NZAOT who have an interest in the aims and key activities of the group are invited to join.
The group supports and promotes occupational therapists working within older persons’ services. NZAOT encourages the sharing of information, expertise and skills by providing a national resource and networking system for its members.

Objectives
- To provide a network throughout New Zealand of occupational therapists working with Older People
- To facilitate the sharing and distribution of ideas and resources within the group
- To be an identifiable resource for NZAOT Council and Executive Director for issues pertaining to occupational therapists working with Older People
- To provide a forum to discuss occupational therapy issues in the area of Older People where concerns, which affect the profession locally, regionally and nationally, can be discussed
- To provide the opportunity to facilitate consistency on policies, procedures and issues nationally
Main activities
- Key contact is via Email discussion forum of the Occupational Therapists working with Older People SIG LISTserv
- Face-to-face meetings – as arranged (Last one Focus on the Future Forum - November 2005)
