New Zealand Journal of Occupational Therapy

New Zealand Journal of Occupational Therapy is an official publication of the New Zealand Association of Occupational Therapists Inc.

The Journal is supplied free of charge to full, proportional and first year professional members.  It is not included in the subscriptions of minor proportional, associate or student members.  Usually the Journal is delivered in March and September.  If it is not included in your membership subscription and you would like to receive a copy, please fill out our order form.

Aims and Scope

New Zealand Journal of Occupational Therapy is dedicated to the publication of high quality national and international articles that are grounded in practice. We invite practitioners, researchers, teachers, students and users of services to submit manuscripts that provide a forum to discuss or debate issues relevant to occupational therapy. These will be peer reviewed by the Editorial Review Board, and, if accepted, will be published in a timely manner.

We publish a range of articles such as theoretical articles, case reports, reports on therapeutic programme, consumers’ voices, research articles, resources reviews and viewpoint articles, articles related to ethical issues and Maori/ Pacific Islanders (New Zealand indigenous people) issues.

Abstracting and Indexing

The Journal is indexed in the following databases: CINAHL; OT Search; OTDBASE and EBSCO publishing.
