WFOT 2010 will focus on contemporary perspectives in occupational therapy and occupational science. Many of these perspectives emerge from the historical roots of international practice while others reflect the thinking of current times.
The Congress adds the perspective of human rights as a basic framework necessary to the development of occupational science and therapy. The themes that emerge and are linked from there are looking to build a space to understand and analyse the foundation of professional work, reflecting on political, social, cultural, epistemological, scientific, technological and technical resources. Congress participants will have the opportunity to reflect and discuss their thoughts in different forums, which provide a thoughtful and engaging communication.
