What is a submission?

An opportunity to present occupational therapy insights, views and opinions on issues that impact on our ourselves, our clients and our world.

Key Guidelines

  • Write clearly, order your message and make it easy read
  • State clearly what it is about
  • State clearly who it is from
  • Clarify if you want to appear before a select committee (if for a select committee)
  • If you have the authority and are writing on behalf of an organization, state their aims, give background details
  • State who has been consulted with
  • 5 basic principles: Relevancy; clarity; conciseness; accuracy and conclusion
