The Association has bestowed Honorary Life Membership on the following occupational therapists, for their consistent and outstanding contribution to the NZAOT and to the profession of occupational therapy.
Between them they have served innumerous roles within the Association, at local branch level as chair, conference organizers, national executive members, treasurers, presidents, Association representatives to a range of organizations, members of the occupational therapy board, charge occupational therapists who supported, mentored and guided younger therapists, as tutors, both in fieldwork and on-campus.
Nominations shall be considered, and Honorary Life Membership may be granted by the Council, at its discretion. To be considered for Honorary Life Membership a nominee must demonstarte an outstanding contribution to the Association or the profession of occupational therapy.
