Rules

The Rules of the Association lay down how NZAOT is to operate and includes a section called the 'objects.'

These 'objects' are the purposes for which the Association exists.

Regulations

The regulations are the requirements which govern the internal affairs of the Association, including the administration and the management of the Association. The Regulations shall be available to all members. The Regulations are supplementary to the Rules.

How can I influence the Rules of the Association?

Rules can be amended or repealed by a Motion of the proposal before a Special or General meeting of members - and the motions carried by two thirds of the votes (see Rule 6.1).

Council by two thirds majority has the power to create, amend or repeal Regulations (see Rule 6.2).
