Council and Operations Committee

The Council are elected and comprise five Council members at large; each holding a portfolio, and three executive officers (president, secretary and treasurer). 

In attendance at Council meetings are the executive director and the past president or the president elect.

The Operations Committee comprise the executive officers and the executive director.

Purpose of Council meetings

To meet as required to make policy, provide direction, and to oversee day to day operations of the Association.  Council meet three times a year in person and have at least one other conference call.

Purpose of Operations Committee meetings

To operate as the delegate of Council meeting in the months when Council does not meet.  Meetings are usually by conference call.

All meetings are minuted and are made available via web pages to members, once they have been ratified, at the earliest following meeting of Council.
