NZAOT is a member of the ACC Futures Coalition
The aim of the coalition is to build cross-party support for retaining the status of ACC as a publicly-owned single provider committed to the ‘Woodhouse Principles’, with a view to maintaining and improving the provision of injury prevention, treatment, rehabilitation and ‘no fault’ compensation social insurance system for all New Zealanders.

NZAOT is a member of DPA New Zealand.
The DPA is the collective voice of people with disability in New Zealand based on principles of human rights and equal value of life. Successful in lobbying to have New Zealand ratify the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, it now is an official partner in promoting, protecting and monitoring New Zealand's implementation of the Convention.

The Equity-for-illness Alliance is calling on the New Zealand Government to create a single needs-based National Health and Disability Scheme for all New Zealanders: founded upon fair and equitable principles, incorporating both accident and non-accident-related needs.

The Occupational Health and Safety Industry Group (OHSIG), was formed in 2005 to act as an industry forum to bring the voice of OH&S providers to government and equally for government to have a single point of contact with the industry. It is committed to improving the health and safety of NZ employees at all levels.
